A few controllers taken from Sergi Jordà Puig's Thesis (above)

The Yamaha Miburi - Alternate Controller using empty-handed gestures captured by various sensors including an exo-skeleton vest and shoe sensors.

Wacom home page - Manufacturers of computer interfacing technologies, notably a series of Tablets utilizing Stylus controllers, buttons and touch screen technology for control. The wacom tablets have historically been a popular choice as alternative digital musical instruments since they offer many Degrees of Freedom.

Music Mouse - Home page of a dmi based on the humble computer mouse. Also viewable on the site is a nice (although not necessarily complete) time line for electronic (and digital) musical instruments.

The Mouthesizer - A very strange dmi using computer-sight technology to monitor the shape of the performer's mouth, providing the results a synthesis control values (wah-wah for example)
